Privacy Policy

Below you will find an overview of which data of our users we process when they visit our website and use our offers. Responsible for data processing is Robin Auer, Stockackerweg 83, D-78464 Konstanz, Germany.

1. Cookies

This website uses cookies. These are small text files that your browser stores on your computer. With the help of these cookies, we can recognize whether your browser has already accessed our site. In part, we use these cookies to make our website more user-friendly. We set so-called session cookies for the duration of your visit. These help your browser to navigate faster on our pages. These cookies are deleted as soon as you close your browser window. Furthermore, our website sets a cookie through the web analysis program "Google Analytics" that we use. We explain this in more detail in the following section. This information that we receive through cookies will in no case be merged with possible other personal data that we have stored about you. You have the option to exclude the storage of cookies for our website in your browser settings and to delete existing cookies. In this case, you can visit our website anonymously. You can delete existing cookies on your computer yourself at any time. In this way, you determine how long the cookie is stored with you and enables an exchange of information. The legal basis for the use of cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

2. Google Analytics

We collect information about when and how often you use our website and which subpages you view there in order to make our website more interesting and user-friendly for you. For this purpose, we use Google Analytics. The Google Analytics program is provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View CA 94043, USA ("Google"). It stores so-called cookies on your computer, i.e. small text files through which the program can recognize your computer each time you visit our website. This can collect information about your usage habits, including your IP address. This information is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, your IP address will be shortened ("IP masking"), so that an individual assignment to you is no longer possible. Only in exceptional cases can IP addresses be transferred to the USA and only shortened there. Google assures that this data will not be merged with other data that Google may possess about you. We have concluded an order processing contract with Google for this purpose. You can exclude the storage of cookies in your browser settings and delete existing cookies. This also applies to cookies from Google Analytics. If your browser does not allow cookies, you can visit our website anonymously. If you wish to prevent the collection, processing and storage of your data by Google Analytics without blocking our other cookies, you can install a tool from Google on your computer, which you can download from the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. This is an extension (so-called add-on) to your browser. For more information on how Google uses your data, please visit http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html. Google Analytics will delete the data collected in this way when it is no longer required for the purposes of analyzing our website through statistical evaluations. This is the case after 14 months at the latest. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

3. Google Maps

We have integrated Google Maps on our website. This service is provided to us via an interface (API) by the company Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View CA 94043, USA. It is possible that Google also collects data about your use of this service via this API and stores it on servers in the USA. Google assures that this data will not be merged with other personal data about you that may already be held by Google. You can find more information on this in Google's privacy policy, which is available here: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You have the option of preventing data transfer to Google by deactivating the use of Javascript in your browser settings. In this case, however, you will no longer be able to use Google Maps. The purpose of this data processing is to provide you, the user, with information via Google Maps that makes it easier for you to find our store. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit f DS-GVO.

4. Social Media Plugins

We use buttons from social media services on our website that allow you to share content from our website with other users by clicking on these buttons via the corresponding service. We offer buttons from the following companies: Twitter, operated by Twitter Inc, 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Facebook, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. Pinterest, operated by Pinterest Europe Ltd, Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. Instagram, Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram"). An overview of the Instagram buttons and their appearance can be found here: http://blog.instagram.com/post/36222022872/introducing-instagram-badges. We use these buttons with the so-called "Shariff" solution. If you want to share page content, you can activate the button by clicking on it. Please note that this may collect data about you from the respective company that provides the buttons. This may be stored on servers in the USA or other countries. You can find out about details in the privacy statements of the companies, which are available under the following links:
Twitter: https://twitter.com/de/privacy
Facebook: https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php
Pinterest: https://policy.pinterest.com/de/privacy-policy

The data protection law standard in the USA does not meet the requirements of the GDPR. However, the companies Twitter and Facebook have joined the "Privacy Shield" agreement and have thus voluntarily undertaken to meet higher data protection requirements than those prescribed under US law. If you activate the buttons, you consent to this data collection and transfer. The legal basis for data processing in this case is Art. 6 (1) lit. a DS-GVO. If you do not activate the buttons, no data about you will be processed.

5. Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts, Adobe Fontkit)

We may use script and font libraries on our website, in particular Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). In such cases, the font is transferred to your browser's cache so that the page can load faster on your next visit. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts, content will be displayed in a standard font. When a script or font is called from a library, a connection to the operator of the library is established. It is theoretically possible - but currently also unclear whether and possibly for what purposes - that operators of corresponding libraries collect data. The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here:
https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
The privacy policy of the library operator Adobe can be found here:
https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO

6. your rights as a data subject

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time. The scope of your right to information can be found in Art. 15 DS-GVO. Likewise, you have the right to demand correction of your personal data stored by us under the conditions of Art. 16 DS-GVO. In addition, you can demand the deletion of your personal data in accordance with Art. 17 DS-GVO and the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 DS-GVO. You may object to data processing that we base on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) under the conditions of Art. 21 DS-GVO. If the requirements of Art. 20 DS-GVO are met, we are obliged to enable you to transfer your data. You also have the right to complain about our processing of your personal data to the competent supervisory authority.

7. modification of our privacy policy

We keep the right to adapt our privacy policy in the future. This may become necessary due to changes in legal requirements or the introduction of new tools or services. If you visit our website again, the data protection declaration will apply in its current form.
